ENTREMIND helps athletes turn what they built in sport into a plan for life after it, with entrepreneurship as a real option. The work plan foresaw two project meetings in person, both in Warsaw: one to open the work and one to close it. This post is about the first.
On Wednesday 3 December 2025, the four ENTREMIND partners met for the project’s kick-off meeting at CIC Warsaw, where the coordinator, Young Entrepreneurs Society, is based. Each organisation sent one representative: Young Entrepreneurs Society from Poland, Compass Academy from Türkiye, SpedTech from Belgium and ORCAS IF from Norway.
What was on the table
The meeting lasted one day and covered six topics:
- the partner organisations and the people on the project team;
- the project’s goals, the groups it serves and the results it is expected to deliver;
- the work packages, the resources to be produced and the timeline;
- who leads what, as set out in the work plan: Young Entrepreneurs Society the research, SpedTech the assessment tool, ORCAS IF the empowerment toolkit and the workshop, Compass Academy the training kit and the supporting kit;
- how the partners coordinate and stay in touch between meetings;
- the first step: the research phase.
What came next
The research came first. The research report followed in January 2026, built on a survey of 100 athletes and 12 interviews in the four partner countries, and an assessment tool and a training kit have followed since.
